Gerroff my patch Jo!!!
I'm joking - I rarely find much Jo, I think the last Sally Hansen success was a total fluke, and has set me up for disappointment ever since! I tried Folkestone yesterday and that wasn't much cop either. I did buy a pack of those dragonfly stickers though, they look so cute on your sparkles

Sounds like we swopped stomping grounds this weekend if you went to Folkestone! I've heard the Westwood Cross Poundland is good....maybe one day I'll be brave enough to venture to Planet Thanet!

Re: What are you wearing today?
I've never had much at Westwood Cross, and I'm usually put off by the queues of traffic. Queuing to get in to Planet Thanet???? If they were queuing to get OUT of Thanet that would make far more sense to me!!!! (Says the woman from Dover..........!)
My bext planned trip will have to be IKEA I think - I really do want, no need a helmer.

Re: What are you wearing today?
Wearing the very gorgeous NFU no56 ,two coats over black I love the way it shifts from blue to green, I have wasted so much time staring at my nails today!

Please excuse the bad layering and general messiness, I really need new glasses!

Pretty!
Maybe lack of pretty nailvarnish is why I've been so pathetic at work today and come home 3 hours early. I'm so fedup I could be tempted to take polish with me & do it at work. If it weren't for the smell no bugger would notice!

Re: What are you wearing today?
Since I started working from home, no bugger has any idea if I'm painting mine. One of the bonuses of working from home. That and having my lunch in the garden when it's sunny

Re: What are you wearing today?
No problem Sue! I have a veritable flakie factory here so I did need to de-flake a tad!! I don't wear the flakies very often, I offered to put some pink (the Zoya one) over my sister's plain pinky red pedi yesterday, but the shock of trying a non-pale pink colour was quite enough for her for one day and she politely declined. She also commented that the beautician who usually does her toenails doen't usually sneeze on her feet.......

Re: What are you wearing today?
Black and white stamping to see what worked
My stamping skills are really crap and I get the shakes so it isn't a truly realistic picture
white base sinful snow me white
Black base sinful black is back
Left thumb konad white stamping polish
Right thumb sinful snow me white
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Index finger on both hands Konad black stamping polish
Middle finger on both hands MUA the £1 brand from Superdrug
Ring finger on both hands sinful black is back
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Little finger left hand sinful snow me white
Little finger right hand konad special stamping polish
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Verdict sinful black is not opaque enough to work as a really black stamping polish but if they still make the MUA one in the same formula than that is worth getting
The Konad white is definitely crisper

Re: What are you wearing today?
Vinylux Purple Purple looks pretty good given I put it in very late after a bottle of wine last night.
Lets hope the PVA glue comes off with the mess round the edges in the shower as I've not got time to fiddle with remover and brushes this morning!

Re: What are you wearing today?
I did too Sue!
I had to put a few pics on of what I've just quickly slapped on in the kitchen this morning (forgot I have to go somewhere tonight, Tuesday's normally a 'plenty of time, do something nice night). I'm joining Hanspan with Vinylux, mine is the Gilded Pleasure. Now I don't usually do duochromes much but I wanted to try the Vinylux and the shades weren't exactly thrilling so I picked this one. Maybe it's my lack of experience with duochromes but this one isn't a colour that I'd usually go for but it's really "Ooooooh" to me! (I reckon you'd LOVE it Jasmina Please ignore the funny shaped dent in the index, it's a polished out nail dink - this polish really does magnify flaws beautifully!

I don't need to hold my nails in any particular way to see the green, it's flashing about all over the shop!

The other nails are 'slightly' less extreme I thought I'd have a bit of a play when littlie was in bed.

Thanks Jasmina! This one was put on by me i.e. not a skilled polisher and I don't usually do duochromes either!
