I bloody love that, well done I've always failed at glitter gradients, I make them look too blocky.

Re: Nail Luxxe
Thank you very much Laura! It was my first time, so I'm hoping it isn't a one hit wonder lol
What technique do you use? I heard through Facebook that you can do a glitter gradient using a sponge. For some reason the thought of using a sponge for glitter never crossed my mind. I did mine by brushing on layers. Maybe one or the other might help

I also do my glitter gradients with the polish brush, find it easier. I think I prefer reverse glitter gradients now.

Good to hear you and Jasmina say you use that method too. When I heard about the sponge I was like "...have i been doing this wrong.." lolSam wrote:I just use the polish brush as well, just play around with different glitters Laura

I only use a sponge for plain colours, I wouldn't want to waste precious glitter on a sponge!

Hmm, they're a bit strange! I like the drippy one but I think I'd keep trying to wipe it off...!

Re: Nail Luxxe
lol I'm with you Sue! Someone else pointed out that they might not last long with hand washing etc. Having said that, it's probably just for special occasions/one offs.
I can't lie, I'm not as weirded out by it as I was at first, so it could be growing on me...

Re: Nail Luxxe
I quite like the two pointy options, but only with black polish I think - I'd want the colour to extend up from my nail not be different.

A black sharpie may last longer! Thanks Nail Luxxe, I still like to know about these things even if I'm unlikely to try them.

A review of Essie's Beach Bum Blu: (didn't intend for that to rhyme but 'blue' rhymes with a lot of things!)

Re: Nail Luxxe
It's been a while since the last update! The biggest thing that's changed since then is my nail shape. I'm going for the almond look and its almost there (lol just typed: "it's almond there")
Here's the first stage of changing the shape:

I always wanted to do the Kelly Osbourne heart nails so I had to do that:

I think the shape looks lovely, and the gradient is wonderful. Makes me want to have a go!
