Gonna see what deliveries they are doing from midnight tonight. If it's gonna take too long I'm going to queue at my nearest (an hour away!) apple store.
I've already sold my 4s and she's keen to have it so am on a bit of a deadline! Lol

Re: Late Night Club
Hey, I'm here. Had a terrible day or two cos I didn't get the job I interviewed for but feeling a bit better. How are you, what are you up to? x
Re: Late Night Club
Sorry to hear about the job Geordie, was that the one at Mind? I'm sure something will turn up soon.
I'm just watching Question Time and eagerly awaiting the return of Diane Abbott to the This Week sofa!

I'm sure it didn't go as badly as you think. Don't worry about it too much, it's all experience.Geordie Nails wrote:It was :(I think I gave a really bad interview cos I panicked!Babafette wrote:Sorry to hear about the job Geordie, was that the one at Mind? I'm sure something will turn up soon.

Re: Late Night Club
I'm getting feedback when I go in to volunteer on Monday. I think I know what went wrong - I was panicking cos my answers were too short, then on the question on confidentiality which required a clear, concise answer I went around the mill trying to explain myself and didn't do a good job!
Re: Late Night Club
Sorry about the job Geordie .I hope they can give you some feedback that will help you in the future though?

Re: Late Night Club
So sorry you didn't get the job. Interviewing is such a rubbish way to choose people - its so far from reality and there's people who are good at them but then crap at the job. I've knows several overpromoted twats who are just good at arse licking and flannel at interview, but are pretty much sub human
Hope you get useful feedback that helpw you through the next one.
I learned years ago to have a small nip of vodka and an aspirin before hand - just to take the edge off the nerves - note this is NOT recommended if you don't ordinarily drink &/or it could make you squiffy!

Re: Late Night Club
I watched the cricket until 4am, then laid awake for ages because of the wind and rain. I got up at 9.45am.
