Re: What's On Your Mind?
Good luck Baba...the job of cutting the hedges here falls solely on to me ,though sometimes wielding the hedge cutters can be quite therapeutic

My friends clubbed together to put a deposit down on a Glastonbury ticket this morning as they were gutted I wasn't planning on going. It's the nicest thing that anyone's ever done for me I reckon, but now I've gotta pay them back eek!

Re: What's On Your Mind?
I did the half mara and am in pain. I think the pain will be doubled tomorrow, it was such a bad run. Probably one of my worst ever. Good atmosphere though, fab route, fab weather but a bad run. I think I like plodding along to my music with no pressure really - was nice to not worry about crossings though and cars and dogs. I'm very mixed on this organised run stuff.
So thats the end to my epic year of challenges, well 1 to go next month but that marks an on going one but it started all this new me stuff.
I wore the MIND polish, it matched my vest will post pics tomorrow.
Waffling, over tired, in pain, over caffeinated.
Might get into cycling next summer...

Re: What's On Your Mind?
Wow well done!! Where was the run/what was the route like? And what is this Mind polish?! I volunteer there so should probably know about it even if I can't afford it ^_^ninjablossom wrote:I did the half mara and am in pain. Re: What's On Your Mind?
It was the Lilypad that Sal organised for the MIND Charity auction I did - Nicole did a navy blue holo which just sparkles with the tinyest light (I went into the fridge just and found myself staring at it!) The polishes all went for some fab amounts in the auction.
It was the royal parks half - will get pics tomorrow. You volunteer at MIND? :)its a fab charity, all the runners and support peeps were so friendly.
hopefully will sleep well

Re: What's On Your Mind?
I'm gutted. PayPal have limited my account in case it has been used fraudulently. I've checked all the transactions are genuine and answered all the security questions, but now they want me to prove my location - only problem is I'm in Devon at the moment for the next few weeks and my credit card is registered in London.
I guess that will put pay to my small spending sprees on eBay then.

Re: What's On Your Mind?
Oh awesome, it sounds so beautiful. I do, as a receptionist, and with all fingers and toes crossed I might be chosen for a part time admin job there too. We just had a huge mental health awareness event in Newcastle centre with tons of different stalls and even short films!ninjablossom wrote:It was the Lilypad that Sal organised for the MIND Charity auction I did - Nicole did a navy blue holo which just sparkles with the tinyest light (I went into the fridge just and found myself staring at it!) I daren't, I have enough trouble remembering all my passwords at the moment!
I uploaded proof of address this morning so I'm hoping that should short circuit things and I can get back to buying more polish.

Pissed off, left my iPhone charger at Dan's house and it's run out of battery. Had to put my SIM card into my crappy Glastonbury basic Nokia phone but it means I have no MP3 player for the gym :/

Re: What's On Your Mind?
has no one at home got a travel charger or a lap top with a usb Laura? or is it the cable bit you need? I've ended up with several of them over the years, not sure how :S
I'm supposed to be going to spain with a mate on Wednesday. So called mate just called to say 'erm sorry I've took a new contract and it starts on Thursday'. He was in a contract last week, that was only 2 weeks old. Quit that one, then took this one and states he 'forgot' we were going on Wenesday. Doesn't add up and I've said I'm fucking annoyed, he's said ''i'm over reacting''. Because he can't organise himself or stick to any job for longer than a few weeks, I'm over reacting? 2 days before we go? when I moved my annual leave around? and the fact we spoke on Friday about the car parking, he text me about it last night, he rang me at 9am about his passport details and now he tells me he took this job but forgot to tell them about Spain. If it was a new job, I might be more calm - but he takes contracts and decides he doesn't like them every other week.
am I over reacting?
