Re: What's On Your Mind?
I feel unsettled I think after a lunch with an old flame, on which I realised I may still like him. I don't like this feeling, I think I'm actually sulking or feeling sorry for myself because I just want to watch crap TV with a blanket on my sofa and not think at all.
Its best to ignore why I feel unsettled until the feelings hide of their own accord.
Thats ninja's guide to a happy and healthy state of mind, denial and avoidance.

I think I'm rather good at denial and avoidance too.

Re: What's On Your Mind?
Awww thanks ladies. Have found out that I've won £100 from a prize drawer at work and our DD for gas and leccie has gone down from £79 a month to £13 a month cause we are £300 odd in credit!! Mental!!!
On hols OH and I went to a market and for some reason he was determined to buy a wooden carving of a Buddha. Have no idea why but he haggled for ages over this damn thing thinking it would bring us luck. He's now hacked off because its brought me luck and not him!! I mean the only lucky thing was the prize draw I suppose?!
Have told him to rub its belly tonight and he should get something soon. I hope so!!

Re: What's On Your Mind?
Fecking hormones. I feel like I'm 14 again. I cry at a the drop of a hat right now. Better just be because I ran two pill packets together...
Re: What's On Your Mind?
Have you ever done that before? I do it all the time without problems normally.
Re: What's On Your Mind?
Only once, it did this to me last time as well I think but I kinda forgot about that when I started the second pack

Gutted. Had a lovely day at Wisley only to get home and receive a phone call from neighbour in Devon who thinks we only have two fish left out of twenty one.

Oh Baba, I'm sorry to hear about the fish . Seagulls? They snaffled most of our neighbour's koi (the greedy b'stards). But there again, maybe it's karma in this case - we call our neighbours the pensioner chavs. They didn't like where I planted a young bay tree so they pulled it out (claimed they knew nothing about it - despite the earth and leaves all over their drive!). Many other neighbourly unpleasantries but we always wave and say hello, just to keep the peace .
I'm glad you enjoyed Wisley - I love the rhodedendrons. I miss rhodedendrons, pinky brown soil and gorse being up here in the chalk!

Thanks Loola, I'm hoping they're all just hiding but my gut says not. It was probably a heron or an otter.LoolaBeanbag wrote:Babafette wrote:Gutted. Had a lovely day at Wisley only to get home and receive a phone call from neighbour in Devon who thinks we only have two fish left out of twenty one.

I'm feeling really crap today. I've already had a cry in the toilet at work.

Re: What's On Your Mind?
I didn't sleep well and I'm feeling upset about the fish plus there is crappy stuff going on at home at the moment too.
I've just bought another nail polish to cheer myself up.

Sorry you are feeling sad Baba.
It's a shame about your fish, hope the other stuff sorts itself out quickly.
